The role of the Homebound Ministry at St. Margaret Mary Church is to reach out to people who are homebound and assure them that they remain an important part of our parish and community. Once a month, usually the third Sunday of the month, the Homebound Ministers go to the homes of parishioners or to residents of local Nursing and Personal Care Homes. During this time, the Homebound Ministers visit with the Homebound, pray with them, and present them with the Eucharist.

This ministry is available to any Catholic who is not able to regularly attend church for Mass. It can be for a long term or a short term, such as after surgery or short term illness.

If you or someone you know is in need of this ministry, please contact the parish office at 724-335-2336.

If you are interested in becoming a Eucharistic Minister to the Homebound, please contact Father Ken or Mary Sue Wheeler through the parish office.
